A Strange Food,Delhi

「美味しいから、騙されたと思って食べてみろ！」こんな事を言われても、生まれて初めて食べる異国の食べ物には慎重になるものだ。
けれど最近は、地元の連中が食べている物は必ず食べてみる事にしている。
この写真に写っている物の名前は判らないけれど、インドのデリで食べてみた。
白いソースはヨーグルトで丸いボールは揚げてある、ベジタリアンフードなので肉等は使ってないようで、豆が入っていたと思う。肝心の味の方だが「美味しかった」と言える。
もう一度食べて見たいのだが、他の店で出会った事は一度もないし、そもそも名前が判らない。
旅先で出会う食べ物は、他の事同様一期一会だ、又食べたいと思い起こす食べ物は枚挙にいとまが無い。

I'm infatuated with strange foods in strange land. I just have got to try any dishes that people of that land is eating. The more strangely the dish looks, the more my curiousity grows in throwing that bits of food into my mouth. Yes, you've got to be a bit courageous in doing so, but it' worth trying cause it won't kill you. It's just like meeting people for the first time. You might like or dislike the person, it's that simple, yet each bit of taste becomes memorable.

This unknown snack I met in Delhi was a fried ball with vegetable inside, and was coated with turmeric spiced yoghurt sauce. I don't know her name, but I would love to meet her again.
