旅から帰って振り返るとき、思い出深いのは有名な観光地ばかりではない。行く前に色々な写真や資料を目にしていたりすると、案外感動が無い時もある。ところが、旅の中で感じる充実感や高揚感が何気ない風景や体験を生涯忘れがたい物にしている時も有る物だ。
何日もガイドも無しで砂漠をドライブした末、僕は海に突き当たったもうこれ以上西には進めない。
何一つ無い白い砂浜、と青い空が只あるだけだった、何のランドマークも無いその景色が忘れられない。
Holiday packs arranged by agencies are filled with notable sight seen places, yet what it really remains in my mind is usually not-so-notable place, person or scene. Like this sky, it is nothing. It is nothing but blue high sky with white dots of birds. It was like gazing at sky filled with stars.
