テレビを漫然と点けていたら「犬の気持」と言う商品の広告が耳に入ってきた。
どんな商品かと思ったがペット飼育愛好者向けの雑誌らしい。（「猫の気持」と言う物も有るらしい）
老人や、孤独に生活する人の大切な家族でも在るペットを、より良く理解しようとするのは当然だろう。
人間社会の妬みや誹りにさらされた心が求める物は無垢な存在だ。だが本当は犬や猫の心を知る前に人間の心を知る事が出来ているかどうかを見詰めなおす事が重要では無いだろうか。
因みにもし僕が犬や猫なら、ペットとして飼われる一生は、どんなに飼い主に可愛がられようとも残酷な運命でしかないと思う。野良猫や野良犬になってゴミを漁りのたれ死ぬ一生を選ぶ、必ず。
I used to chase after cats that use my new studio patio as their toilet. The patio was filled small white rocks that must have looked like their indoor toilet sand. Whatever the reason it was, the new space must have been incomparably comfortable space. As my annoyance for the daily habit in picking up their big ones grew, I started to search for ratsbane and such…but none of them worked. Then one day, I found black plastic panels with small plastic thorns at a supermarket for forbidding entrance of cats into gardens. Without expectation, I bought them and placed around the patio. Now I no longer chase nor even see a cat around the studio. I still can not believe those fragile plastic thorns can do anything to cats. Heart of cats are unknown to me.
