男の人の機械好きは子供も大人も変わらない。
物心ついた頃には、家の目覚まし時計を分解したり粗大ゴミの得体の知れない機械を拾って家へ運んだりして両親を困らせた。
周りを見回しても、時計好き、オーディオ好き、コンピュータ好き、車好きなど等機械好きは数知れない。
本人は至極まじめに大人の趣味だと思い込んでいるが、端から見ると熱中する子供の様だ。
女の人は飽きれるばかりと思っていたが最近は、オタクな女性も多くて、機械好きは男の病とばかり言えない様だ。
It is usual that cars are men’s hobby, just like cameras and watches. I’m not into any of them, yet I was once overwhelmed by the beauty of machine in Honda museum. It exhibited some of the supreme engines in a glass case, just like a notable sculpture in art museum. It expressed energy with penetrating force, that I couldn’t believe it was produced for practicability, only. The existence was an absolute beauty. Then I realized, beauty is born at the ultimate practicability.
