Promenade,Tokyo

毎朝オフィスへと歩く旧玉川上水路跡の遊歩道は、甲州街道の車両騒音にも拘らず心穏やかにしてくれる気持の良い散歩道だ。暖かくなった今、冬の間は水の無かった噴水にも水が流れ、桜の華に変わって青々とした緑が美しく光り輝いている。人も心も、緑萌えるように外へ外へと誘われるのか、黄昏時になっても行き交う人が絶えない。
気が付けば夏になっている事だろう。

The city is full of flowers now. Even on an ordinary sidewalk, I see some flowers like dandelions and poppies, all full of lives. This is the time of the year that I always feel strong energy of plants that they might almost cover this concrete jungle into green jungle, as it used to be. Tokyo used to be a huge forest…
