大学生の頃は自動車に多少興味を持った事も在ったが、今はオートバイはともかく自動車に興味は殆ど無くなってしまった。
事務所に高級外車のパンフレットやカタログが送り付けられたりするのだけれども、どれも「マネー・パワー・セクシー」なコンセプトで、自分の価値観に全く相容れない。出るのは苦笑ばかりだ。
今、通勤の手段は徒歩か、インラインスケートを使っている。その方が車で移動するより早いのだ。
自家用車や、タクシーを移動に多用して、夜や休日にベルトコンベアーの上を走ったりする事が、ナンセンスな事に思えて仕方が無いが、その知的とはとても言いがたいライフスタイルを都会的と言う美名で肯定する資本主義の原理には嫌気がさす。
歩こう！僕達の足はピチピチのジーパンを演出する為に有る訳じゃない。
何時か歩けなくなる前に思う存分歩いておこう。
The typical image of India can be summarized in words like “spiritual”, “religious” and “austerity” in Japan that a lot of us still believe that Indian people share the same Buddhistic perception of the world that they practice unworldly life style. Although there are of course unworldly Indian following their own religious beliefs, as in any parts of the world, most of them are ‘worldly’ as many of us!
